Hi, I'm Theresa. I graduated from West Point with a degree in Life Science, Honors. Currently getting a dual degree in MS in Biotech and MBA at Johns Hopkins. With the many challenges that came with academy life, I realized that I had the potential to help others academically so that we can all successfully balance our physical, military, and academic duties. I dedicated 800+ hours as an individual tutor in a myriad of subjects to include biology, psychology, math, and chemistry. Additionally, I was a senior writing fellow at our writing center and specialized in developing different ways to teach peers and colleagues effective ways to improve writing and communication. I have been published in peer reviewed, international journals on writing pedagogy.
Working with me, you'll find that I deeply value creativity and discussion based sessions. I am versed in the structure of various tests, personally scoring 5s on AP exams and 95th percentile on the GRE. I want to make sure that I am teaching these in a personalized way so that our sessions are dynamic.
