About Barbara

Bio

I'm a former fourth and first grade teacher. I have substituted from Preschool to Grade 5 and taught basic skills in a Kindergarten setting, as well as, first through fifth grade. I am available to work with your PreKindergarten through Fourth Grade child in all aspects of elementary education. I currently live and previously worked in the Washington Township School District. I'm a former fourth and first grade teacher. I have substituted from Preschool to Grade 5 and taught basic skills in a Kindergarten setting, as well as, first through fifth grade. I am available to work with your PreKindergarten through Fourth Grade child in all aspects of elementary education. I currently live and previously worked in the Washington Township School District. I have extensive knowledge of K-2 Fundations ( phonics program) and Everyday Math (K-5). Note: I recently worked in the public school system and therefore have been background checked.

I make learning fun through games and my enthusiasm! Sessions are different for everyone, but will usually contain a review of the previous session, a new or reinforced skill(s) and a "practice" assignment. Homework help is also available. My schedule and length of sessions (one hour minimum) are flexible.

I am available to tutor online, in your home or mine. I want to help your child learn and succeed!

Knowledgeable and very patient

My son loves his tutor he’s usually very withdrawn but one session in he opened right up to her. She encourages my son EVERY lesson and comes with soooo much energy different ways to teach his lessons. I recommend Barbara to anyone that’s looking for a tutor that gives 1000000% every session !!!
