I have worked with students for over 30 years. I received my Education degree Summa Cum Laude from Gwynedd Mercy College in 1978. I also received the Education Dept award and the Student teaching award at graduation. I also received my permanent certification as a Pennsylvania teacher. I pursued my classroom teaching in both private and public schools teaching Grades 7-12 English, Theology and Science. I worked in urban and suburban schools.

I went on to study and receive my MS Ed in Counseling and Human Relations with a Pennsylvania certification in Secondary School Guidance in 1980. I moved into a role as a Secondary School Counselor for the School District of Philadelphia in 1990.
Upon my early retirement, I chose to focus on tutoring and substitution. I have tutored in home and online since 2006. I have worked with levels k-adult both individually and in small groups. Primarily I tutored Reading, English and Study Skills. I have tutored test prep. I have worked for Sylvan Learning Ctr (10 yrs), Club Z (5 years) and I currently work as a substitute for Washington Twp School District and a Homebound Instructor.
