In addition to my classroom work, I have over 10 years of tutoring experience. I have worked one on one with students needing assistance in certain subjects; I have also lead small focus groups in school (during lunchtime or after school) of up to 6 students for test prep and enrichment purposes. My teaching approach is hands-on and engaging. I use lesson plans in which I incorporate manipulatives into math instruction to make abstract concepts concrete and accessible for all learners. For science I design interactive STEM lessons that spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking and make learning fun and meaningful. I'm deeply committed to helping students discover that they are capable, resilient, and ready to succeed.
