As an Engineering student, I believe that excelling in STEM requires a deep understanding of foundational principles rather than rote memorization. I am passionate about breaking down complex technical concepts into digestible steps, helping students solve immediate problems while preparing them for the advanced topics to come. This philosophy is rooted in my diverse experience, which includes six months of STEM mentorship at a non-profit focusing on math and science fundamentals, as well as serving as an Elementary School Teacher’s Assistant. In the classroom, I mastered the art of keeping young learners engaged through dynamic, human-centered instruction.
Currently, I volunteer as an English tutor, where I specialize in helping students overcome the "anxiety of the new" to find their confidence and voice. My teaching approach is strictly relationship-based; I meet students exactly where they are to reduce the stress often associated with math and science. By helping them recognize the logic and patterns behind formulas, I empower my students to move past anxiety and become independent, lifelong problem-solvers.
