I am an Applied Mathematics and Economics student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a strong foundation in mathematics from algebra to calculus. Throughout my academic experience, I have developed strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and I enjoy helping others understand challenging concepts in a clear and approachable way. My background has taught me not only how to solve difficult problems, but also how to break them down into manageable steps for others.

I have experience supporting peers and students in math-related coursework, especially in one-on-one settings where personalized instruction makes the biggest difference. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to fit each student’s needs, whether that means slowing down to strengthen fundamentals or working through advanced problem-solving techniques.

My goal as a tutor is to build both understanding and confidence. Rather than focusing only on getting the right answer, I emphasize understanding the reasoning behind each step so students can become independent problem solvers. I strive to create a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
