I am a certified special education teacher with over a decade of experience supporting students with diverse learning needs. I hold a Master’s degree in Education and a certification as a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC). Over the past eleven years, I have worked with students across elementary and middle school levels, specializing in helping children strengthen foundational reading, writing, and math skills while building confidence and independence as learners.

My teaching approach is individualized, structured, and encouraging. I believe that every student learns differently, and I take pride in using evidence-based strategies to meet students where they are. I incorporate multisensory techniques, visual supports, and scaffolded instruction to promote engagement and understanding—especially for students with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences. Whether working one-on-one or in small groups, my goal is always to make learning accessible, meaningful, and enjoyable.

Throughout my teaching career, I have supported students ranging from kindergarten to middle school in both inclusive and self-contained settings. My experience extends beyond academics to include executive functioning skills such as organization, task completion, and emotional regulation. I am patient, flexible, and dedicated to helping each student experience success at their own pace. Tutoring provides me with an opportunity to connect with students more personally and tailor instruction in a way that makes learning click.
