Currently a Kindergarten Teacher in the Camden School District, I am constantly seeking opportunities to utilize my skills in the field of education. I obtained my Bachelor’s in Childhood Studies and my B.A. in Spanish at Rutgers University-Camden. Over the past 8 years, I have underwent and participated in various education related trainings and courses to strengthen my knowledge. I have worked in various types of educational positions with students of all ages, from infancy throughout college! I would consider myself very privileged to help students and adults reach their full potential in their educational journey. Sometimes, just being in a classroom all day with a large group of students is not enough to foster our desired intellectual advancement. This is where tutoring and mentoring is extremely beneficial. It offers students and adults the opportunity to learn in a more unique way. My main desire is to take an integral part in shaping the complete educational growth of ANY Learner!

Study Skills

Studying can be a huge help in internalizing content material. Most students know that they should study but may not know exactly how to study. Once they understand which study methods work best for them, they will be more likely to study and to benefit from studying. As a seasoned tutor, I am able to help students study in various ways, such as creating note cards, study games, study groups, and other activities. I have also taken workshops on how to choose the correct note taking format for each subject to aid them in their studying process.
