I bring both professional training and real-world experience to every Spanish lesson. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Rowan University, and shortly after graduating, I moved to Guatemala, where I spent three years teaching English. During that time, I traveled extensively throughout Latin America—immersing myself in the language and culture across nearly ten countries. These experiences allow me to teach not just textbook Spanish, but authentic, natural Spanish as it’s actually spoken.
Since returning to the United States, I’ve transitioned into my current role as a high school Spanish teacher, where I’ve been teaching since 2020. I’m passionate about helping students move beyond memorization and truly understand and use the language with confidence. In addition, I completed a Master’s degree in Translation and Interpreting (English–Spanish), which has strengthened my understanding of both languages at a deep, technical level.
Outside of Spanish, I’ve also explored learning languages like Romanian, Portuguese, and French. Through this, I’ve developed effective, practical strategies for independent language learning—tools that I actively share with my students to accelerate their progress.
Whether you’re looking for help with school, conversation practice, grammar, or long-term fluency, I tailor each lesson to your goals and learning style. My goal is simple: to help you gain confidence and actually use Spanish in real-life situations.
Let’s work together to get you there.
