I have a strong background in science and education and enjoy helping students build confidence in challenging subjects. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Ramapo College of New Jersey and a Master’s degree from New York University. I am also currently pursuing an MBA at Stevens Institute of Technology. Professionally, I work as a scientist at Pfizer, where I apply concepts from biology, chemistry, and data analysis in real-world research settings. This experience allows me to connect what students learn in school to how science is actually used in the world.

During my time at Ramapo College, I served as a Chemistry Teaching Assistant, where I helped students understand difficult course material, guided them through problem solving, and supported them during laboratory exercises. I was also selected as a TAS Honors Research Assistant, which allowed me to participate in scientific research and further strengthen my analytical and critical thinking skills. These experiences gave me early opportunities to explain complex concepts in ways that make sense to different types of learners.

In addition, I am a state-certified substitute teacher in New Jersey and have classroom experience working with students across different grade levels. I understand that every student learns differently, so my tutoring approach focuses on breaking complex topics into manageable steps and creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not only to help students complete assignments or prepare for exams, but also to help them truly understand the material and gain confidence in their abilities.

Approved Subjects

Algebra 2

Algebra 2

I have a strong background in math and science, supported by my degree in biochemistry and master’s in bioinformatics, where I regularly applied algebra-based problem solving, data analysis, and quantitative reasoning. In high school, I completed an accelerated math track including Geometry Honors, Algebra 2 Honors, Precalculus with Trigonometry, AP Calculus, and AP Statistics, which gives me a strong foundation in the concepts covered in Algebra 2 and beyond. I have a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry from Ramapo College of New Jersey and a Master’s in Bioinformatics from NYU. I also have teaching experience as a chemistry teaching assistant at Ramapo College, where I helped students understand complex concepts by breaking them down into clear, step-by-step explanations. I’m very comfortable tutoring Algebra 2 topics such as functions, quadratics, polynomials, and logarithms, and I focus on building both conceptual understanding and confidence, especially for test preparation.
Basketball

Basketball

I played basketball from elementary school through my freshman year of high school and have continued to stay involved through coaching. I worked as a camp counselor and coach for three years at Moody Brothers Basketball Camp in Ramsey, NJ, where I helped teach fundamentals, drills, and game skills to young players. Through this experience, I developed strong skills in working with kids, building confidence, and making learning the game fun and engaging. I focus on helping players improve their fundamentals, including dribbling, shooting, and overall game awareness.
Biology

Biology

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, with a strong academic foundation in biology, chemistry, and related life sciences. I currently work as a scientist at Pfizer, where I apply molecular biology, genetics, and data analysis in a professional setting. In addition to my industry experience, I have teaching experience as a chemistry teaching assistant and have worked with students to simplify complex scientific concepts into clear, understandable lessons. I am comfortable tutoring high school biology topics including cell biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, and human body systems, and I focus on helping students build both understanding and confidence.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s in Bioinformatics, with strong coursework in general chemistry, organic chemistry, and molecular biology. I previously worked as a chemistry teaching assistant, helping students understand core concepts and improve their performance in class. Currently, I work at Pfizer in mRNA Vaccines and Technologies, where I apply chemistry and molecular biology in a professional setting. My background allows me to connect academic concepts to real-world applications and explain them in a clear, approachable way.
Chess

Chess

I have been playing chess since I was 5 years old and have continued developing my skills through club and casual play. I was a member of the chess club at Ramapo College and later founded a chess club at my workplace in 2023, where I lead games and beginner lesson sessions. I enjoy teaching new players the fundamentals of chess, including piece movement, strategy, and game thinking. My goal is to make chess approachable, engaging, and fun while helping students build confidence and improve their skills.
Guitar

Guitar

I have been playing guitar since 2014 and am an active member of a band, with experience performing live at over 15 shows. Through performing and collaborating on music projects, I’ve developed strong skills in rhythm, timing, and playing with others. I enjoy helping students learn foundational skills like chords, strumming, and technique, while also building confidence and musical creativity. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to improve, I tailor lessons to your goals and the style of music you enjoy.
Lacrosse

Lacrosse

I have officiated girls lacrosse at the youth and high school levels from 2013–2019 and returned to reffing in 2025–2026. Through my experience as a referee, I have a strong understanding of game rules, positioning, and strategy, as well as how to communicate effectively with players and coaches. I am comfortable helping athletes learn fundamentals, improve game awareness, and prepare for competitive play. My background allows me to teach both the technical rules of lacrosse and the practical skills needed to succeed on the field.
