I have experience tutoring middle school, high school, and college students and I have worked with 20+ learners across a wide range of math and science subjects. Through Knack, a college peer tutoring program that emphasizes andragogy (teaching strategies tailored to adult learners/college students), I tutor fellow university students in Calculus for Business and Economics, where I've gained 30+ hours of one-on-one teaching experience. Working through Knack has helped me develop a structured, goal-oriented tutoring style which focuses on understanding concepts rather than memorizing steps.
I love tutoring because it is a win-win: I get to support others academically while straightening my own mastery of subjects that I have taken and care about.
