I’ve always loved helping people learn, and that passion led me to earn my degree in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communications with a minor in Sport Communication from James Madison University. I’ve always loved helping people learn, and that passion led me to earn my degree in Writing, Rhetoric, and Technical Communications with a minor in Sport Communication from James Madison University. Over the past few years, I’ve worked with students in elementary, middle, and high school, tutoring subjects like writing and English. Whether it’s breaking down tough concepts or boosting confidence before a big test, I focus on making learning approachable and tailored to each student’s needs.

Baseball has been a major part of my life. I’ve played competitively for years and developed a strong understanding of the game both physically and mentally. I’ve trained consistently, competed at various levels, and built a solid foundation in teamwork, discipline, and performance. One of the standout experiences in my career was working with the Savannah Bananas, a team known for blending high-level baseball with entertainment. Being part of that organization gave me insight into how to engage with fans, stay sharp under pressure, and bring energy to every moment. Whether it’s one-on-one training or working with a group, I focus on practical feedback and building confidence. I take the game seriously, but I also know how to keep it fun and competitive. Baseball has taught me how to lead, adapt, and stay focused.

I also have experience coaching and mentoring basketball players, focusing on fundamentals, teamwork, and discipline, and knowledge of the game. My approach emphasizes skill development, confidence building, and understanding the game’s strategy. I strive to create a positive learning environment where athletes can grow both on and off the court.

Most of my experience has been one-on-one, either in person or online. I use a mix of strategies depending on the student, like active recall, real-world examples, and step-by-step guidance. My goal is always the same: to help students feel capable, supported, and ready to tackle whatever comes next. Teaching isn’t just about the material, it’s about connection, en
