Hi, I'm Priscilla! I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Arts degree as a triple major in Chemistry, Biology, and Public Health. With a busy course load, I have had to teach myself lots of techniques to understand course material well and efficiently. I hope to help other students do the same!

In high school, I was my class's valedictorian and received my school's English and Science Awards, and I obtained a 1550 on the SAT. I would love to help younger students develop the essential academic skills to succeed in high school too. I continued my success in college, achieving a 3.97 GPA.

In terms of my teaching experience, I was an organic chemistry TA for three years in college, and I have offered tutoring since I was in high school. Subjects I've tutored include middle school through high school English and math as well as chemistry/biology through the college-level. My teaching style is informal, as I want my students to feel comfortable asking lots of questions. It's my goal to help students understand how to best meet their own learning goals and how to harness their unique abilities to excel in the classroom.

I am a first-year dental student at Penn Dental Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, so I am open to providing support at any stage of the dental admissions process from mastering the DAT to writing essays to interview preparation. I scored a 26 AA on the DAT (99th percentile), and I have experience conducting interviews and selecting candidates for a competitive research-experience program at my college.
