I have tutored in various subjects, including Physics, Calculus, Differential Equations, Computer Science, and various advanced courses in each of these fields, such as Quantum Field Theory, High-Energy Physics, Deep Learning, Cloud Computing, etc.
I generally like to take a methodological ("engineering") approach to teaching. In other words, I focus more on students' ability to understand the explicit strategy behind how to tackle a problem or concept, as opposed to a more "bottom up" approach: beginning with formalism and theory before applications. I use this approach to contrast the typical (boring) classroom experience and develop real relationships with other students. I've taught a wide range of ages (10 to 20) in various contexts, including in classroom settings, 1-on-1, and group discussions. Lastly, I love getting to meet new people!
