Truthful and To the Point

Daniel is rare in that he will give you the brutally honest truth and for some, that might be tough to handle. His no-nonsense approach is refreshing in a sea of people who enable bad habits and bad writing. He helped my son reflect on the areas he needed to change, and despite the sensitive topic, he was able to communicate effectively on how to make qualitative improvements to make the essays more compelling and consequently, bring results. Very thankful for his amazing insights. Thank you Daniel!

Outstanding tutor

I’m very grateful to have met Daniel. He’s a highly knowledgeable and genuinely great person to work with. His experience in finance, combined with his volunteering as an admissions officer, was invaluable in helping me write a succinct and impactful motivational letter for my master application. His candid and brutally honest way of evaluating and proofreading essays is truly one of a kind - fully focused on helping you craft the best version possible. His unconventional, out-of-the-box writing advice has completely reshaped how I structure, frame, and write motivational letters moving forward. I fully recommend working with him.

Daniel discovered more potentials in my essay

Daniel helped so much when he helped me draw out all the thoughts and passions I could write about. We had some disagreements and debates on parts, but we compromised and came to a mutual understanding. These conversations helped carry out the best version that I could not have possibly done on my own!

Great instructor for MBA applications

After working on the applications on my own, I worked with Daniel for three sessions where he really helped elevate my essays and resume. Having completed an MBA and being part of the admissions review committees himself, he is very knowledgeable about what the admissions teams look for in applications and how to make your applications stand out. He gives constructive feedback when needed but also works with hand in hand to improve specific nuances of your application. I recently found out I was admitted to two M7 and one T12 program and huge credit goes to Daniel.

Knowledgable and insightful tutor

Daniel has done 3 different sessions with our daughter to help her with her college application essays. We originally only planned to have him do 1, a quick review and editorial pass on her first essays, however his input was so valuable that we scheduled follow ups on the additional essays (she was applying for 10 schools, each with different essays). Daniel did a great job of posing questions to our daughter to get her to think about what unique skills and talents she brings to the table that would be of interest to schools. Additionally, he helped her with framing her essays to tell a story vs just listing a bunch of facts. She left the sessions very motivated and inspired to spend more time framing up and finalizing her essays (when she had originally thought they were pretty much done). I highly recommend Daniel to anyone looking for help with college essays or writing assignments in general!
