I'm Banji, a current student at Princeton University pursuing a psychology major and double minor in finance and Spanish! After over three years of serving as a volunteer tutor at my local middle school, I am very experienced with working with students ranging from elementary to high school age. Due to my Spanish fluency, I often tutored children from recently immigrated families in their native language, such as Venezuelan and Mexican immigrants. It was incredibly rewarding to see students return week after week asking for me, or when they proudly showed me the test they aced after we studied together. My time as a tutor solidified my belief that every child deserves a high-quality education, regardless of their circumstances.
As a tutor, I will build confidence and achieve academic success through empathetic, patient, and structured sessions. I adapt my approach to each student’s needs and create a comfortable, judgment-free environment where students feel confident asking questions. I am primarily available for virtual sessions, but I am open to in-person lessons depending on proximity to the Princeton campus.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesson — I'm always happy to help.
