I am a mathematician and physicist with a rare combination of long-term academic teaching, high-level tutoring, and real-world industry experience. For over fifteen years, I have tutored students at the undergraduate level, helping them master challenging material in calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, statistics, and calculus-based physics. In parallel, I’ve spent ten years as an industry professional and research scientist, applying advanced mathematical and physical concepts to real problems—experience that allows me to teach not just how formulas work, but why they matter and how experts actually use them.

In addition to tutoring, I’ve spent five years as a college professor, delivering full course instruction across math and physics departments in both in-person and online settings. I have taught and supported students in Calculus I–III, Physics I–III, differential equations, linear algebra, statistics, precalculus, algebra, and standardized test preparation including SAT and ACT math. This dual perspective—as both professor and private tutor—means I understand course design, grading standards, common pitfalls, and how instructors think, while also knowing how to meet students exactly where they are and accelerate their progress efficiently.

My approach is highly individualized and intentionally selective. I design carefully curated, custom learning materials for each student, targeting conceptual gaps, strengthening intuition, and building durable problem-solving skills rather than short-term memorization. Students who work with me are typically motivated, serious about excellence, and value deep understanding, efficiency, and expert-level guidance. My rate reflects the depth of experience I bring, the time invested outside of sessions to tailor instruction, and the results my students achieve—whether that means excelling in demanding university courses, preparing for competitive exams, or rebuilding confidence in subjects once thought out of reach.
