I am currently pursuing a B.S.E. in Chemical and Biological Engineering at Princeton University, with minors in Materials Science and Engineering, Statistics and Machine Learning, and East Asian Studies. My academic background includes advanced and graduate level coursework in mathematics, chemistry, physics, statistics, and programming. I have completed engineering internships at SpaceX and Entegris, worked in three labs (and have one paper in the process of being published to Nature), and am currently the top ranked army ROTC cadet at Princeton earning distinguished military graduate honors. I am comfortable helping students with mathematics, chemistry, physics, programming, general STEM problem solving, and the SAT/ACT. Having received admission offers from Princeton, West Point, and the Naval Academy, I can also offer firsthand insight into preparing for competitive college admissions.

I've spent time tutoring students at my high school for taking the SAT, as well as some of my younger brother's friends in both standardized testing and academic subjects. I emphasize working through examples and interactive learning, verbalizing solution methods rather than formula memorization. In terms of other mentorship experience, I have served as a Princeton Army ROTC cadet leader, helping instruct and mentor cadets through classroom lessons and also helping in establishing younger cadets' lifestyle routines for general success as an undergrad. I also serve in a leadership role on Princeton Rocketry's liquid propulsion team, where I work with students of varying technical backgrounds to explain engineering concepts and in guiding their practical engineering skills.

Approved Subjects

ACT Math

ACT Math

I am a Chemical and Biological Engineering student at Princeton University, minoring in Statistics and Machine Learning, Materials Science and Engineering, and East Asian Studies, graduating in 2027. I scored 780 on SAT Math and 35 on ACT Math, and my coursework in thermodynamics, materials science, and graduate-level quantum mechanics gives me a strong foundation for explaining mathematics through both intuition and reasoning with examples. Through quantum materials research at Princeton and internships at SpaceX and Entegris, I have applied mathematical reasoning to materials characterization, spectroscopy, and process improvement. My ACT Math tutoring approach emphasizes working through examples and breaking problems into clear steps, explaining the reasoning behind equations, which helps students develop intuition and confidence to solve problems independently.
Biology

Biology

I am a Chemical and Biological Engineering student at Princeton University, minoring in Statistics and Machine Learning, Materials Science and Engineering, and East Asian Studies, graduating in 2027. My Chemical and Biological Engineering background gives me a strong foundation for explaining biology through its underlying chemical and physical principles and reasoning with examples. My biology tutoring approach emphasizes working through examples and breaking complex processes into clear steps, explaining the reasoning behind biological concepts, which helps students develop intuition and confidence to solve problems independently.
Calculus

Calculus

I am a Chemical and Biological Engineering student at Princeton University, minoring in Statistics and Machine Learning, Materials Science and Engineering, and East Asian Studies, graduating in 2027. My coursework in thermodynamics, materials science, and graduate-level quantum mechanics gives me a strong foundation for explaining calculus through both physical intuition and reasoning with examples. Through quantum materials research at Princeton and internships at SpaceX and Entegris, I have applied mathematical reasoning to materials characterization, spectroscopy, and process improvement. My calculus tutoring approach emphasizes working through examples and breaking problems into clear steps, explaining the reasoning behind equations, and helping students develop intuition and confidence to solve problems independently.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I am a Chemical and Biological Engineering student at Princeton University, minoring in Statistics and Machine Learning, Materials Science and Engineering, and East Asian studies, graduating in 2027. My coursework includes thermodynamics, materials science, graduate-level quantum mechanics, and more, giving me a strong foundation for explaining chemistry through both physical intuition and reasoning with examples. Through quantum materials research at Princeton and internships at SpaceX and Entegris, I have applied chemistry to materials characterization, spectroscopy, and process improvement. My tutoring approach emphasizes working through examples and breaking these problems into clear steps, explaining the reasoning behind equations, and helping students develop intuition and confidence to solve problems independently.
Organic Chemistry

Organic Chemistry

I am a Chemical and Biological Engineering student at Princeton University, minoring in Statistics and Machine Learning, Materials Science and Engineering, and East Asian Studies, graduating in 2027. My coursework in two semesters of organic chemistry, thermodynamics, materials science, and graduate-level quantum mechanics gives me a strong foundation for explaining organic chemistry through both physical intuition and reasoning with examples. Through quantum materials research at Princeton and internships at SpaceX and Entegris, I have applied chemistry to materials characterization, spectroscopy, and process improvement. My organic chemistry tutoring approach emphasizes working through examples and breaking problems into clear steps, explaining the reasoning behind reaction mechanisms, which helps develop intuition and confidence to solve problems independently.
