I've tutored elementary, middle, high school, and college students in the following areas: Elementary Math, Algebra I, Algebra II, SAT Math, SAT Reading Comprehension, SAT Grammar, SAT Writing, Spanish (I'm a native speaker!), Social Studies, Essay Writing, and College Application Essay Writing. I have worked with students one-on-one.
My tutoring journey began in high school when I, as a rising junior in 2017, began helping rising seniors with their Common App Essays as they were applying to college. Throughout the duration of this project, I developed a passion for helping others unlock their strongest writing voices and narrative skills to write eye-catching and successful college application essays.
That same year, I also began tutoring two middle school students in all of their subjects: Algebra, Social Studies, Language Arts, Physical Science, and Spanish. From that point forward, I continued to tutor students in all subjects and several students in each college application cycle even throughout college. Upon beginning college, I also began to tutor high school students in all standardized testing subjects primarily for the SAT and ACT exams as well as other college students in courses I had completed.
I remain particularly passionate about helping students improve their chances of admission to top schools. Using examples of Common App and supplemental essays from my own peers at Yale University, I look forward to helping students with their applications for this coming cycle.
