I am a dedicated elementary educator with over 15 years of classroom teaching experience, supporting students across all core subjects including reading, writing, and math. I told a Master's degree from Teachers College, Columbia University in International and Transcultural Studies, as well as a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from Western Kentucky University. Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of learners, helping students build foundational skills, strengthen confidence, and achieve academic growth.
My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and highly individualized. I understand that every child learns differently, so I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of my students. Whether a student is struggling to keep up or looking to get ahead, I focus on making learning engaging and accessible while reinforcing key skills and concepts. I also prioritize building strong relationships with students to create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
I have extensive experience working with elementary-aged students in both classroom and one-one settings. I am especially passionate about helping students improve their reading comprehension, writing abilities, and math skills. My goal is to not only help students succeed academically, but also to help them develop confidence and a lifelong love of learning.
