Hi! I’m Madhav, a Mechanical Engineering major at Rutgers University and a Dean’s List student. Throughout my academic journey, I’ve developed a strong foundation in math and science, along with a genuine passion for teaching and helping students build confidence in subjects that often feel intimidating at first. One of the most impactful parts of my learning experience has been working closely one-on-one with professors and TAs. Through these interactions, I’ve seen the difference between simply being given an answer and being guided through the process of understanding. That experience heavily influences my tutoring style, I emphasize learning concepts deeply rather than memorizing formulas, so students can apply what they learn independently and with confidence.
I have extensive experience volunteering as a tutor for children in need, working with students ranging from ages 5 to 13. In these roles, I taught and supported students in Algebra, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, adapting my approach based on each student’s age, background, and learning style. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into simple, intuitive steps and making learning feel approachable rather than overwhelming.
Academically, I am well-versed in mathematics and have completed coursework through Calculus III (Multivariable Calculus), along with rigorous engineering-based problem solving. Whether a student needs help mastering fundamentals or strengthening advanced concepts, I aim to create a supportive environment where questions are encouraged and understanding comes first.
My goal is always to meet students where they are and help them grow, not just academically, but in how they approach learning itself. I’m easy to reach, happy to adjust my teaching style to individual needs, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure students truly understand the material. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a lesson, I’d love to help!
