Hi there! I’m Chris — a summa cum laude graduate in History and Psychology with master’s degrees from both Yale and Princeton Theological Seminary. I bring an academic background rooted in curiosity, discipline, and creative thinking. My graduate work focused on humanities, philosophy, and ethics, giving me a strong foundation in research, writing, and critical analysis. I love helping students make connections between ideas, think more deeply, and find their authentic academic voice.
Over the past four years, I’ve taught and tutored students from a wide range of backgrounds — including two years teaching at Rutgers University and one year at Princeton University -- mentoring formerly incarcerated students through a university partnership program. My experience spans writing, research methods, humanities, and social sciences, and I’ve guided college students through everything from first-year essays to senior theses and original research projects. I have also tutored high school students in a variety of subjects (Writing, English, History, Psychology, SAT Prep, and College Admissions). Whether one-on-one or in the classroom, my goal is always to create a learning space that’s encouraging, intellectually stimulating, and student-centered.
As a published writer myself, I know that strong writing isn’t just about grammar or structure — it’s about developing original insights and sharing them in a way that is clear and engaging. I take pride in helping students grow into their full potential as thinkers and communicators. I’m excited to support your learning journey, whether that means polishing a paper, sharpening your analytical skills, or discovering how your unique perspective can shine in your academic work. My priority is helping YOU! Let’s make it fun, rigorous, and rewarding!
