Hi! "I'm Linda!" I graduated college with three subject area studies: Elementary Education, and Nursing, with specialization in School Nursing. While attending Nursing School, I received a national award, All American Scholar through nomination by the college faculty. I scored high on the Principal and Supervisor's Exam in the area of teaching methods, and passed the National Teacher's Exam. I like to write lesson plans, teach, and find it helpful to evaluate students, and their progress. To reach students of all intellectual levels, and help them understand material they thought were major obstacles for them is a rewarding experience. The methods I use are Danielson and Madeline Hunter--and based on individual needs which I am quick to discover because of my knowledge of the subject matter. I have also had experience as a substitute with special needs students. As previously stated, I have over 15 years of experience working with students in classrooms as a class, and on a one-on-one level. I hold a State of NJ Letter of Eligibility in Classroom Teaching K-8., am a NJ Licensed RN for 20 years, and NJ Certified School Nurse for 4 years. I earned a Perioperative Training Certificate in 2003.
I am skilled in helping students achieve academic success because of my background, and coursework. I have a bachelor's degree, an associates degree in science, and a minor in Management Science.
