I have been a Grumbacher certified art instructor since 2011 and have been a part-time art instructor at Michael's of Watchung, NJ since 2011. I've been teaching acrylic painting as well as drawing to students of all ages, child through seniors. It's a great feeling seeing students create a piece of artwork that they are proud of and happy with.

I've been painting/drawing since the age of 2. I first attended art school from the age of 7 to 10 at The Peter Anthony School Of Art in Bayonne, NJ. I continued art classes with various local artists in the central NJ area through my teens. I Placed first in the Plainfield Art Show juniors category for an oil pastel landscape

of Bayonne Park. I Received a Merit Award in the Plainfield Art Show for an etching, “The Cape May House”.

I Placed third in the Spring student art show at Union County College for an acrylic landscape painting “Field of Flowers”. I now work mostly in either water-based oils or acrylic, though I love painting on cars in enamels.

I feel I have the ability to make even the most novice student feel comfortable and competent, while also being able to stretch the abilities of more advanced students, always keeping a relaxed, laid back, upbeat, comfortable attitude.

I attended Union County College, Cranford, NJ- Associate Degree in Fine Art, then onto Montclair State College, Montclair, NJ for a B.A. in Fine Art (studio) and a minor in Biology. I also took Figure Drawing at The Art Institute of Philadelphia for a Summer.
