I hold a strong educational background with a degree in Mathematics Education from SUNY Cortland complemented by a New York State teaching certification in Mathematics 7–12. My academic training has equipped me with a deep understanding of both subject matter and effective pedagogical strategies, which I bring into every tutoring session. Over the past 4 years, I’ve worked with students across a wide range of grade levels—from upper elementary to high school—helping them build confidence and mastery in subjects such as algebra I, geometry and algebra II

My tutoring experience is rooted in both one-on-one and small group settings, including private tutoring, classroom teaching, and volunteer work in underserved communities. Whether I’m breaking down complex algebraic concepts, guiding a student through an essay outline, or helping with time management, I strive to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel empowered to take ownership of their learning.
