Hello there! Nice to meet you, I am Iris! I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Chinese and am continuing with a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences.

I have 4 years of experience in teaching classes and tutoring High School AP Biology, and Biology SAT II subject test prep at an after-school academy program.

I am also fluent in both writing and speaking Korean. I have 2 years of experience in conducting class lectures, preparation of class materials, proctoring exams, and grading assignments in college-level courses such as Elementary Korean, Korean Language in Culture and Society, and Introduction to Korean Cultures at Rutgers University.
I love teaching! I consider myself a learner for life and genuinely thrive by sharing my knowledge and skills to help others learn and apply their knowledge too. My tutoring approach involves tailoring the teaching material and engagement style to accommodate each student’s specific needs.
No one likes boring classes!! I am all about making lessons fun, engaging, and creative so we both enjoy our learning time. I welcome any resources or suggestions from students and parents to further make the learning experience more effective and meaningful.
