Hi, My name is Darshan! I graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, concentration in Neuroengineering, and a minor in Data Science. Throughout high school and college I appreciated professors who made classes more engaging for their students, focusing on individualized approaches to teaching. I enjoyed when teachers were dedicated to their student's success and offer additional help and resources when needed. Such character is what I strive to bring within my tutoring approach. I hope to foster an inclusive learning environment that is tailored to the strengths and weaknesses of each student. I am well organized and utilize lesson plans that coordinates with the student's previous knowledge to complete tasks in the present and stay prepared for the future.
Overall I have had years of tutoring experience. In high-school I was a robotics teacher and mentor for students 3 grade and onwards, guiding students from beginner to international competition level robotics. I also spearheaded a computer science course initiative within my school district serving as the lead assistant. Throughout my years I have also been very active with peer mentoring, ensuring that I create a personal and professional relation with my mentees and guide them through their journey with various resources and experiences.
I am hoping to offer my knowledge and experiences to these students I work with. I pride myself in being dedicated to my students, ensuring that all of their questions are addressed through my own advice or guidance towards further resources.
