Effective Elementary School Teacher (K-6)

My name is Aissa.
I am currently a Fourth Grade ELA teacher. I graduated from Montclair State University as an undergraduate and received my Masters in Elementary Teaching at New Jersey City University. I've been teaching for 9 years. I tutored students last year (once a week) online and in-person. Those students range from First to 6th Graders. I took part in being a tutor for VSA Future Online teaching for 1st, 2nd, and 4th graders. I teach students ELA and Math.
I am proficient to teach elementary grade students due to my different grade-level teaching experiences. I always believe in my students. I take a lot of time to teach the lessons in ways that they are able to learn. At the same time, I always welcome their approach to learning.
Tutoring is an opportunity to have a one-on-one teaching approach. I love that it will create an enriched learning experience for both the educator and the student. Tutoring will create a good relationship between two people whose goals are to help teach and learn.
Today, I currently teach 4th Grade ELA, Reading and Writing. I taught 5th and Kindergarten classrooms as well during my 8 years of teaching. In addition, I am a teacher at heart. I love to teach and be a part of children's lives as they become successful both academically and socially. I currently have two years of tutoring online for VSA Future LLC. During that tutoring experience, I taught math, reading, and writing for Kindergarten up to Third Grade.

I am a bubbly, fun, and energetic person. I am young at heart and love to teach! I am also a person that can be trusted and approached. I teach in creative ways that are encouraging and FUN. I prioritize how my students approach any lessons first before teaching them the materials using the curriculum.
I hope to be able to be hired as a tutor!
