University Calculus Professor and High School Math Teacher

I am Valbona. I graduated from Montclair State University and hold a master's degree in Applied Mathematics. I also hold a degree in Math Education.
I have over 25 years of teaching experience and have been working as a university math professor and high school math teacher for all these past years. I have taught students in a freshman high school classroom and from which I obtained a good understanding of transitions between middle and high school. As a graduate student, I have tutored math at Montclair State University, in-person and online. I gained a lot of experience working with university-level students. I am working as an Adjunct Math Professor at Montclair State University. Also, I am teaching math in high school. As a math teacher, I apply my essential teaching strategies and addressing various learning styles.Tutoring has allowed me to build meaningful relationships with students which, I believe, is essential to a positive learning environment.
I do everything I can to create a positive and nurturing learning environment for my students. In addition to teaching math fundamentals, I assist my students with overcoming mindset blocks that prevent them from practicing their math skills and help them build confidence in their abilities. I love when my students I tutor succeed in math and I work hard to make this happen.

I teach Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus, Geometry. I have tutored SAT,GRE students as well
