I have always been very passionate about math, and I really enjoy making the material more engaging and interesting for others as well!
I began tutoring as an employee at Kumon learning center, where I taught math and reading to elementary, middle, and high school students. I even attended Kumon myself for all of elementary and middle school, so I have been both the student and the teacher. This has helped me target my teaching strategies to meet the needs of each individual student. I am also the Co-President of Bruins for Accessible Education, a STEM tutoring organization at UCLA which I have been involved with since my freshman year.
I began private tutoring over four years ago and I primarily teach mathematics, but I am comfortable working with a variety of STEM subjects. I have experience teaching calculus, precalculus, algebra, physics, and statistics for all levels. I work with students of all ages, from Kindergarten through college.
