Bio

I am an experienced teacher who is friendly, understanding, and supportive. I have 16 years of experience as a Latin teacher and tutor. I have worked with children as young as 5 as well as adults in college.

With each student, I get to the root of his or her individual difficulties, work to help correct those difficulties, and build on existing strengths. I'm familiar with most of the textbooks currently in use, and also have my own trusted methods and materials, which I use to strengthen...

I have taught various levels of Latin for the last 12 years, and have tutored many students over that same period of time. I help students to learn new strategies, to review grammar and vocabulary, and to identify deficits which impede their learning of Latin. Overall, my goal is to help students approach Latin calmly and confidently.

Latin II

Andrea C. is an amazing tutor. My daughter was behind in Latin and was so frustrated.
