Chemistry can feel intimidating at first, but I’ve seen time and time again that with the right explanations and support, students can build confidence and truly understand the material. My tutoring style is student-centered and supportive—I focus on breaking down complex topics into clear, manageable steps and explaining why concepts work, not just how to solve problems.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style and goals, whether that means: Preparing for quizzes, exams, or the AP Chemistry test. Reviewing core concepts like stoichiometry, thermochemistry, equilibrium, or kinetics. Strengthening problem-solving skills and test-taking strategies. Or even catching up after falling behind or getting ahead for future units
I also like to connect chemistry concepts to real-world examples, helping students see that chemistry isn’t just equations on paper, it is something that explains how the world works.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but to help them feel confident, capable, and prepared moving forward. I want students to leave each session understanding the material better than before and knowing they can succeed in chemistry.
