Greetings! My name is Sydonni D and I was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. As a high schooler at Passaic County Technical Institute, I had a concentration in Child Development. From freshman to senior year, I developed lesson plans, constructed bulletin boards, conducted observations and analyses, volunteered at a HeadStart program, etc. In this field, I worked with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting.

Greetings! My name is Sydonni D and I was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. As a high schooler at Passaic County Technical Institute, I had a concentration in Child Development. From freshman to senior year, I developed lesson plans, constructed bulletin boards, conducted observations and analyses, volunteered at a HeadStart program, etc. In this field, I worked with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting.
After graduating from PCTI in 2020, I enrolled at Oakwood University located in Huntsville, Alabama. With a current GPA of 3.5, I have received various Honor Roll medals, presented at the 2024 English and Foreign Language research symposium, volunteered in tutoring middle school-aged children in the Literacy Factory for two years, had three Practicum experiences at three different Huntsville City high schools, and attended the 2023 NAD Teachers Convention.
In December 2024, I will graduate from Oakwood University with a Bachelor's degree in English Language Arts Education. Once I graduate, I plan to become a 9th-grade English teacher. After ten or so years of teaching, I plan to obtain a Master's degree and ultimately become an eLearning Specialist.
