I earned my B.S. in Neuroscience with Honors, graduating Summa Cum Laude, before completing my M.D. I then successfully matched into Orthopedic Surgery at a top-20 program in the United States, completed my PGY-1 year, and decided on a specialty change. I then recently matched into Radiology while also being a teacher in the meantime, as I've always had a passion for teaching & mentoring. Throughout the whole process, I've scored highly on all standardized exams (>90th percentile on SAT, MCAT, USMLE exams). My medical training and residency application experience have given me a deep understanding of the foundational sciences as well as the medical school admissions process.

I am currently a Healthcare Sciences instructor at a Career & Technical high school, where I teach college-level courses including Anatomy & Physiology, Pathophysiology, Medical Terminology, Public Health, and First Aid/CPR. In this classroom setting, I work with upperclassmen high school students preparing for healthcare careers. My teaching focuses on helping students truly understand complex biological systems rather than memorizing isolated facts. I emphasize building strong conceptual frameworks so students can apply what they learn to exams, clinical scenarios, and future coursework.

Through both my medical training and teaching experience, I have worked with students in classroom environments and one-on-one mentoring settings. I enjoy helping students break down difficult concepts, prepare for exams, and build confidence in subjects that can initially feel overwhelming. I also work with pre-medical students on topics such as medical school preparation, personal statements, and understanding the pathway to a career in medicine.

My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive learning environment where students can ask questions freely, develop a clear understanding of the material, and achieve their academic goals.
