Hi! My name is Hailey, and I am a Health Sciences student on the Pre-Physician Assistant track at James Madison University. Before college, I graduated from Park Ridge High School with a 4.0 GPA, where I was a four-year Renaissance Award recipient and a member of the National Honor Society. Throughout high school, I developed strong study habits and a passion for helping others learn, which naturally led me to tutoring.
I began tutoring while I was in high school, working with middle school students after school to help them improve their understanding of class material, complete assignments, and prepare for quizzes and tests. During the summers, I also provided one-on-one private tutoring for an elementary school student for approximately six hours each week. These experiences taught me how to adapt my teaching style to each student's learning needs, whether that meant breaking down difficult concepts into smaller steps, practicing problems together, or finding creative ways to make learning more engaging. My goal is always to build confidence while helping students truly understand the material rather than simply memorizing it.
I believe every student learns differently, so I focus on creating a supportive, patient, and encouraging environment where questions are always welcome. I enjoy helping students strengthen their study skills, stay organized, and develop confidence in their abilities. Whether your child needs extra support with homework, preparing for an exam, or building a stronger foundation in a subject, I am committed to helping them succeed and reach their academic goals.
