Sandy, 2 lessons with AmritMy son, as all teenagers, felt hesitant to meet with a tutor; however, he found that Amrit was very nice and very patient. His words exactly, "Amrit was very helpful". I asked if he would like to meet with him again, and he said yes. So....when a teenager does not give you an argument about seeing a tutor, than you know he did his job! We will be using him weekly.
I've spent the past 10+ years teaching and tutoring math, physics, and statistics. I started as a peer tutor at TCNJ, then worked as a professional tutor at Bergen Community College, and most recently taught as a professor at Montclair State University, where my courses included statistics. Education is my career and my passion, and I genuinely enjoy helping students unlock STEM subjects, especially the ones who don't think of themselves as "math people."

Amrit helped me understand and get past my doubts with my physics class. I would definitely recommend him. He was able to help me understand the manner the equations changed and how to apply them to different scenarios as well as when to use which equation.

Wonderful tutor, definitely would recommend.
During the tutoring session, Amrit helped me understand the material and do problems that were related to the topic. He came prepared and explained the concepts and ideas thoroughly while helping me finish the problems through a step by step process. Although all the material was not covered in the time frame, he was willing to finish the problems independently and send it to me within the next day. He is very knowledgeable, and is an excellent tutor.
