I graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's in Health and Societies and a minor in Chemistry, where I was an Honors student and Benjamin Franklin Scholar. After graduation, I was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship before beginning medical training. I am now a Dean's Scholar and MD-MSc candidate at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
I bring over five years of tutoring and mentorship experience, including AP Research, AP Statistics, SAT preparation, the MCAT, and USMLE Step 1. I also specialize in biology-focused coursework and exam preparation, including AP Biology, SAT Biology, and introductory college-level biology. In addition, I support students through the college and medical school admissions process, and many of my students have successfully matriculated into competitive programs.
My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, breaking down complex ideas, and building strong reasoning skills.
I am particularly passionate about guiding students through high-stakes academic milestones and helping them develop confidence in their abilities. I've mentored students who have gone on to top universities and medical schools, and I tailor my strategies to each student's goals, strengths, and needs. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy reading and exploring new cultures, which allows me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds and enriches my approach to teaching.
