I am a software engineer and experienced tutor with a strong background in computer science, programming, and mathematics. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Programming and a Master’s degree in Computer Science. My academic and professional background allows me to help students understand both the theory and practical application of programming and problem solving.

I have experience tutoring students in mathematics and programming, particularly Algebra, JavaScript, and computer science fundamentals. I have worked with students ranging from middle school and high school to college and adult learners. My teaching approach focuses on identifying the concepts that students find challenging and breaking them down step by step. I ask guiding questions, explain ideas in multiple ways, and move at a pace that allows students to build a complete understanding rather than simply memorizing answers.

I consider myself not only a tutor but also a mentor. My goal is to help students gain confidence, develop problem-solving skills, and become independent learners. I am known for being patient, supportive, and committed to helping students succeed. I truly enjoy helping others overcome academic challenges and reach their goals.

Outside of academics, I have a strong passion for soccer. I played Division II college soccer at Bloomfield College and continue to play competitively in the Cosmopolitan Soccer League in New York. Sports have taught me discipline, teamwork, and perseverance, and I bring those same values into my tutoring.
