I am a 4.0 student at Seton Hall University, studying Finance and on the pre-medical track, which has given me a strong academic background in both quantitative and scientific subjects. My coursework has required discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to master complex material, all of which I bring into my tutoring. Balancing a double focus in business and science has also taught me how to think critically across disciplines and explain challenging concepts in clear and practical ways.
My teaching experience began in high school, where I created my own tutoring program to help middle school students with their academics. Through this initiative, I gained hands-on experience developing lesson plans, tailoring instruction to different learning styles, and building students’ confidence in subjects that initially felt overwhelming to them. I worked one-on-one as well as in small groups, creating a collaborative learning environment where students could ask questions and actively engage with the material.
Since then, I have continued to refine my approach, focusing on patience, adaptability, and encouragement. I believe that effective tutoring goes beyond memorization; it is about helping students understand the “why” behind concepts so they can apply their knowledge independently. Whether working with younger learners who need extra support or advanced students preparing for future academic goals, I strive to create a supportive environment where progress feels attainable and learning becomes rewarding.
