Hi everyone! I am currently a Graduate student pursuing an MBA with a focus in market analytics. My undergraduate degree was in Marketing at Clemson University, but I was originally an Engineering major. I took Calculus I-IV as an engineering student and my Marketing degree focused on Statistics, Business Analytics, and Marketing Metrics. I have worked a few tutoring gigs in Statistics, Business Calculus, and intermediate algebra. I am most comfortable with Statistics, Probability, and Business Statistics, since that is what I have been tutoring for the last year. I have helped 4 student improve their statistics skills.
I have always found that math is a field a lot of kids and college students struggle to grasp at first. But there are many approaches to most of these problems, especially for statistics. Teachers tend to teach the subject the way that makes sense to them, but may not make sense to every student. Some of my tutoring was done while I was in college and I quickly learned how to tailor the material to the different mindsets of my students.
I would be happy to share my experience and expertise with anyone struggling to understand Statistics. Overall, one-on-one tutoring is an excellent way to make sure you understand the material and ace that test!
