I have a masters degree from Middlebury College in Spanish Linguistics. I have lived in three cities in Spain -- Bilbao, Barcelona, and Madrid, so I have very thorough familiarity with the Spanish language and Spanish culture. My time in Spain has allotted me the opportunity to learn Catalan to fluency, as well. My mother's side of the family is from Mexico, bringing to me inherent knowledge of Mexican culture and dialect, as well.

I have taught students ranging from pre-K all the way through to 12th grade, and I have tutored children and adults over the course of 15+ years. My teaching experience ranges from teaching English in Spain for two years, teaching at a border town in Texas for four years, and teaching in New York state for three years. I have experience with students from Title I school districts, prestigious private academies, and everywhere in-between.

Language is my passion -- I speak Spanish and Catalan fluently, I speak high intermediate French, I can navigate in Hebrew and Japanese, and I am literate in Cyrillic languages. There is nothing I enjoy more than knowing that I can impart the gift of language upon others and help expand their view of the world.
