I taught ESL in Bulgaria for nearly 6 years. The first four years were with Berlitz Bulgaria before I opened my own ESL center. I successfully passed a one-week ESL training course with Berlitz, before beginning teaching. I have worked with close to 1000 students over my teaching career and can provide student testimonials regarding my teaching abilities. I have also developed a software for learning foreign vocabulary. My ESL teaching method involves using a collection a pictures directly associated with the areas the student wants to learn. This create a natural learning experience and allows the lesson to be conducted solely in the target language.

I have been speaking public for over 15 years and have taken several college courses on Public Speaking as well as professional development seminars. As an ESL teacher and corporate trainer, I have helped many students prepare for; wedding speeches, corporate presentations, acceptance speeches, introductions, etc. My experience ranges help others prepare for presentations to small groups, to speeches to groups of 150+ people. I utilize technology to help students more easily prepare the content and then also to help them practice and rehearse. Lastly, I make arrangements so the student can practice and rehearse their speech in front of a live group of 30-40 people, so they are confident and ready for their real performance.

Great tutor

This is my first experience in taking the individual lessons in US and I am very glad that my teacher is Steve. During the first month of classes, I expanded my vocabulary, learned more than 200 verbs, and what is most important for me - it's now more clear understanding of the English verb tenses, especially Simple and Continuous, which I had difficulties with, previously. Classes are very interesting, lively and informative. I’m sure my further learning with Steve will bring outstanding results soon.
