With nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, I’ve developed a deep understanding of banking, investments, and client education that now informs my work as a tutor. I began my career as a licensed financial advisor and banker, holding Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 licenses, as well as Life and Health insurance certifications. I’ve spent much of my career helping individuals understand complex financial products and make informed decisions—skills that directly translate into my approach to teaching. Most recently, I retook and passed the SIE exam on April 14th, ensuring I remain up to date with industry standards and regulatory content. I now help students prepare for the SIE and related exams by blending practical insights with a structured study plan tailored to each learner’s strengths and challenges.

In addition to my financial background, I currently serve as a TEAS instructor for a county school district, where I teach students of varying ages and academic levels. My approach is centered around building confidence through clarity and repetition. Whether I'm teaching reading comprehension for the TEAS or the intricacies of market structure for the SIE, I work to simplify material, address anxiety, and make learning engaging. My teaching experience includes classroom settings, small groups, and one-on-one instruction. I also hold a master's degree in Leadership and Management and have completed doctoral coursework in Business Administration. I’m passionate about helping students succeed—not just in passing a test, but in understanding the material and applying it to their long-term goals.
