Though I did attend an art school, I am self taught in both oil painting and drawing and I believe this allows me to have a different perspective. I believe this perspective gives students a sense of comfort in which they can relate and understand the importance of discipline and sureness within their given craft.
My goal as an instructor is to provide opportunities for the highest form of learning. Students engagement is crucial, and I believe that my approach to teaching art will allow for the betterment of students work, but also the confidence that is necessary in any field of work as they ascend into adulthood.
