The Newark Public Library refers me for adult, teen, and tutoring of children in the local community for science, math, elementary school, college and other contexts. I have tutored adults in college and graduate courses for several years.

Tutoring is more enjoyable for me than in the classroom because I get to focus on one student and give them individual help, with more rapid measurable results. I personally learn better with one-on-one instruction and try to make learning enjoyable for my students.

I am a licensed high school physics teacher in Newark Public Schools, and also teach high school forensics and psychology. I have a grade school NJ teaching license, as well as a NJ license in Middle School Science. I have co-taught special education high school science classes for the 2015-2016 school year.

I have 21 graduate degree credits from Adams State University in Colorado in physics, advanced physics and education. I am an A grade average graduate of the NJCTL physics program.

I have tutored grade school children in nearly all academic subjects including math, science, literacy, music, art, and social studies, also having worked individually and in the classroom with students with various learning disabilities. Working for American Tutor, with their focus on middle school, it was a pleasure to help students make real progress in reading and math during one summer session.

Having tutored adults in math and history Graduate students in essay writing over a number of years has also been very rewarding. I am willing to tutor in Central and NorthEast New Jersey and New York (City).

I set a high standard for the time I spend tutoring my students, making good use of time allocated for each session. I don't bill for travel time
