I'm Kevin—a technology enthusiast, software builder, and lifelong learner passionate about helping others grow through knowledge. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Information Security from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, with a minor in Security Management.
I’ve taught students from middle school to college in both classroom and one-on-one settings. As an Adjunct Professor at Lehman College, I taught Data Structures to undergraduates. With Girls Who Code, I led a web development course designed to inspire high school girls in tech. I also created and delivered a hands-on Python fundamentals curriculum for middle school students at KIPP Beyond’s after-school program. These diverse teaching experiences have sharpened my ability to meet learners where they are and build their confidence through practical, engaging instruction.
Beyond teaching, I’ve spent nearly a decade in the tech industry solving real-world problems. My career began as an IT Specialist at KIPP NYC, and later grew into consulting with EY, where I worked across sectors—Retail, Healthcare, and Utilities—as a Full-Stack Developer. My practical knowledge in programming (Java, Golang, JavaScript, SQL) shapes the way I tutor—I bring concepts to life with real-world relevance, patience, and encouragement.
