Hello! My name is Aaron. I'm a student at Seton Hall Law School, pursuing my J.D. I attended UC Berkeley for my undergrad where I received a degree in Biology and Philosophy. I also worked as a documentation specialist at an engineering firm. Throughout my education, I've realized that the classes I enjoyed the most weren't necessarily because of the subject matter, rather it was the professors and teachers who taught these classes. They made difficult concepts engaging and manageable for me. I hope that as a tutor I can channel that same energy and facilitate a learning experience that is engaging and manageable for you.
I have over 9 years of experience tutoring and teaching in both a formal and informal setting. I've taught and tutored a variety of subjects to high school all the way to grad school level students. My focus is on standardized test, college applications, math, and writing. I have experience teaching SAT, ACT, SSAT, SHSAT, STAAR, HSPT, and other standardized tests. Additionally, I offer support in preparing and applying to college, both at the undergraduate and graduate level; some of my past students have gone onto enroll at schools like Berkeley, NYU, Cornell, Columbia, and UCLA.
I am rather flexible in what I can teach. If you can put in the work, I can certainly help you improve and even achieve A-level work.
