With an M.S. in Education specializing in Special Education and 16 years of hands-on classroom experience, I dedicate my career to unlocking reading success for students who learn differently. I specialize in diagnostic, explicit literacy interventions for individuals with dyslexia, learning disabilities, language processing disorders, and general reading gaps. My approach combines evidence-based science with deep classroom expertise to move students from reading frustration to fluent confidence. My instruction is grounded in Structured Literacy frameworks and the Science of Reading. I am extensively trained in elite, research-proven phonics and intervention curricula, allowing me to fully customize every lesson to your child's exact profile.

The specialized programs I use include:
Wilson Fundations
Wilson Just Words .
Orton-Gillingham
Phonics for Reading
UFLI

To provide the highest level of specialized support, I am currently completing my advanced Dyslexia Training Institute (DTI) certification. This ongoing training deepens my ability to implement intensive, multisensory Orton-Gillingham methodologies tailored to students with severe reading challenges. Every child learns at a different pace, but every child can learn to read with the right roadmap. In our sessions, I break down complex language concepts into structured, stress-free, and manageable steps. I do not just teach reading mechanics; I build the emotional safety and academic confidence your child needs to thrive in the classroom and beyond. I look forward to partnering with your family to achieve lasting academic breakthroughs.
