My name is Mena and I am a chief podiatry resident at Englewood Hospital, NJ. I have graduated from UC Riverside with Biochemistry, B.S with a medical emphasis. Took my MCAT and fulfilled my prerequisites and attended Western University of Health Sciences College of Podiatric Medicine where I got to be a part of the Student ambassador lead team (SALT ambassador) assisting in the admission process, as well as becoming an academic and Ultrasound tutor for my colleagues. I graduated top 5 of my class and awarded Pi Delta Honor Society. As a tutor, my passion lies in helping students with their applications to make their dreams come true. From personal statement editing to reviewing your application as a whole and even interview prep. I take pride in walking through the entire process with you as if you were part my own my family.

Over the years, I have had valuable experiences working on personal statements, resumes, and applications, and I am very comfortable students at all phases of the process. I am the chief resident of my residency program which entailed reading every single application of those we interviewed, interviewing them, and sitting on the rank list committee. I worked for the admission office for my medical school and was able to gain beneficial insight into what admission offers are looking for. Between undergrad and medical school, I was also worked as Chief Scribe in the ER of my local city where I also assisted on the hiring end of my job which provided valuable interview insights.
