I hold a PhD in Toxicology and am currently training for a career in academia, where education and mentorship are central to my professional goals. My academic background has provided me with strong quantitative and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, an approach I bring into my tutoring.

I have over two years of tutoring experience, primarily working with students in grades 3–5 in mathematics. During this time, I provided one-on-one support focused on building foundational skills in areas such as arithmetic, fractions, and problem-solving, while also helping students develop confidence in their abilities.

In addition to one-on-one tutoring, I have coordinated summer high school programs focused on teaching toxicology, pharmacology, and environmental science. This experience has strengthened my ability to engage students across different age groups and adapt my teaching style to meet diverse learning needs.

My teaching approach emphasizes patience, clarity, and adaptability. I tailor each session to the individual student’s learning style, using step-by-step explanations and practice-based learning to reinforce understanding. I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with the material.

My tutoring experience has been primarily in a one-on-one setting, allowing me to provide personalized attention and targeted support. I am mainly available for virtual sessions via Zoom but am open to in-person tutoring if needed.

I welcome the opportunity to support your student’s learning and help them build both skills and confidence in STEM. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your student’s needs or to schedule a session.
